That is a bold-faced lie I have just told. No greater fib has ever been made on this Internet.
I liked the idea of tatting. I wanted to tat.
I found myself enamored with tatting shuttles as objects. I imagined that I would collect various kinds of shuttles and that I would have my tatting supplies organized "just too" in a little wooden case. I would be able to use these supplies to create ornate edgings for every occasion, and possibly much much more (though realistically, tatting is really only good for edgings).
The only problem with this grand scheme is that, as it turns out, I don't enjoy tatting. Not one bit. Tatting is both unforgiving and unfulfilling.

So I retract my previous statement.
I do not like to tat.
